INTERIOR DESIGNER

We are looking for a talented junior interior designer to join our expanding design practice. You will be required to support the head designer but also given projects of your own. 

​​

- Minimum of 2 years experience 

- Proficient in 2D and 3D software including sketch up

- Able to create beautiful schematics, moodboards and sample boards.

- Kitchen design experience beneficial 

- Presentations and contextualizing with Photoshop.

Desired Attributes: 

Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work at a fast pace as well as be keen to learn and develop skills within the role.

Practical Skills:

Candidates must have experience using Sketchup Pro and Photoshop to create 2D & 3D models. It is important that candidates have a keen eye for space and design.  

​

The role is a three month paid role with the potential to become permanent. The candidate will acquire fantastic skills within the interior design sector with the opportunity to learn about bespoke furniture designs as well as experiencing real project work. The company is down to earth with lots of varied and interesting projects.

FURNITURE DESIGNER

We are looking for a talented and dedicated 3D design intern to join our expanding interior design practice.

The role is to support the head designer with 3D CAD designs and 2D drawings. Training will be given to develop skills on furniture design and spacial planning.

​

Duties: 

- Aid head designer with design, CAD modelling.

- Creating 3D models and designs within Sketchup Pro

- Producing 2D drawings using Sketchup Layout / Autocad

- Writing detailed specification lists for furniture, materials and designs

- Some rendering of CAD is required

- Support head designer with site visits and project management

Desired Attributes: 

Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work at a fast pace to keep up with project timelines as well as be keen to learn and develop skills within the role.

Practical Skills:

Candidates must have experience for using Sketchup Pro and Sketchup Layout or equivalent to create 3D models and 2D technical drawings. It is paramount that candidates are able to draw up designs accurately and have a keen eye for space and design.  

​

Internship: 

The role is an internship role which has great potential for the role to turn into a full time paying role. The candidate will acquire fantastic skills within the interior design sector and drafting bespoke furniture designs as well as working on real project work. The company is a new and exciting design practice with varied and interesting roles.
